We all know that butter is better for us than margarine, right? We also know that margarine is less expensive than butter most of the time. I had made a switch to butter some time ago, but being on a budget made it a little harder to keep it stocked. This is why I would love to have a milk cow! I tried making butter out of goat’s milk, but without a cream separator, it did not make very much and wasn’t worth it.
Here is how I stretch my butter and make it into a spreadable one at that!
1 cup oil-olive oil or grapeseed oil
2 sticks of butter
I prefer the healthier oils. Olive oil will give a different flavor, so putting it on toast with jam might not be a good thing. Grapeseed oil and butter is quite scrumptious with anything sweet.
Put your oil and butter in a mixing bowl. Beat on high until the consistency is smooth.
